Shipping Policy – BadassMerch Australia

Where we ship

  • Australia-wide: All states and territories, including PO Boxes, Parcel Lockers, and Parcel Collect.

  • International: Selected countries. Duties/taxes are the customer’s responsibility (see “International shipping” below).

Order processing times

  • Same-day dispatch for in-stock orders placed before 12:00 pm AET (Mon–Fri).

  • Orders placed after cut-off, on weekends, or VIC public holidays ship the next business day.

  • During launches/sales, please allow an extra 1–2 business days.

Delivery options & ETA (Australia)

  • Standard (AusPost or equivalent): 2–8 business days metro; regional/remote may take longer.

  • Express (AusPost Express/StarTrack): 1–3 business days to most metro areas.
    ETAs are estimates provided by the carrier and may vary due to weather, peak periods, or unforeseen delays.

Shipping fees (AUD)

  • At checkout you’ll see live rates based on weight, destination, and service.

  • From time to time we run Free Shipping promos (e.g., orders over a threshold). When active, it will be clearly displayed on site and applied at checkout.

  • All shipping fees are GST-inclusive.

Tracking

  • Every parcel includes tracking. You’ll receive a tracking link by email/SMS once dispatched.

  • If your tracking hasn’t updated for 5+ business days, contact us and we’ll follow up with the carrier.

Authority to Leave (ATL) & Signature

  • You can select Authority to Leave at checkout. When ATL is chosen, risk of loss passes on delivery to the address provided.

  • If you prefer Signature on Delivery, choose that option (fees may apply).

Address changes & order edits

  • If you made a mistake, contact us immediately with your order number.

  • We’ll do our best to update details before dispatch; once shipped, changes must be arranged directly with the carrier and may attract a re-delivery fee.

Split shipments & backorders

  • If an order contains pre-order/back-order items, we may:

    1. hold the order and ship everything together, or

    2. split ship in-stock items first (we’ll let you know if extra shipping applies).

  • Pre-order ETA windows are shown on product pages and in your confirmation email.

Delivery issues (lost, missing, damaged)

  • Marked delivered but not received:

    • Check with household members/neighbours, letterbox, and safe places first.

    • If still missing, contact us within 5 business days of the scan so we can open a carrier investigation.

  • Lost in transit: After the carrier concludes their investigation, we’ll replace or refund according to the outcome.

  • Damaged on arrival: Please email photos of the parcel, packaging, and item within 48 hours of delivery so we can assist swiftly.
    Note: BadassMerch is not responsible for parcels after delivery to the address provided, especially where ATL was authorised.

International shipping

  • Live rates and ETA estimates are shown at checkout for available countries.

  • Duties, import taxes, and brokerage fees are set by your local customs authority and are not included in our prices or shipping fees. The recipient is responsible for these charges.

  • Refusal to pay duties/taxes that results in a return may incur return freight and handling fees, deducted from any refund.

Delivery attempts & return to sender

  • If a parcel is unclaimed, refused, or the address is incorrect and it’s returned to us, we can re-ship (additional postage applies) or refund the product(s) less original shipping and any carrier return fees.

Remote areas & bulky items

  • Some postcodes and bulky/heavy items may attract surcharges or have limited service availability. We’ll contact you if adjustments are required before shipping.

Public holidays & peak seasons

  • Carriers do not deliver on public holidays. Peak trade periods (e.g., Black Friday, Christmas) may add 1–5 business days to normal ETAs.

Sustainability

  • We use recyclable mailers/boxes where possible and aim to minimise excess packaging without compromising protection.
